That’s fantastic! Would love to see people post global curriculum ideas. Here’s a link I found with global studies teaching resources: http://dpi.wi.gov/cal/ier7.html. Some global leadership issues to consider weaving into the new curriculum: global citizenship, cross-cultural psychology, social responsibility, global environment, international health, human rights, cultural survival. I think robust and deep language instruction is a cornerstone of deep learning about other cultures.

How about taking opposing sides of difficult global issues and debating them, getting into character of the group whose position you’re taking?

Also would be great to embrace local international resources in our diverse city. Explore different cultures and how they’ve settled in LA and how their cultures have adapted to life in the U.S.

    Your ideas?
